How might we make a portable radio telescope?
By testing configurations.
There are many ways people have MacGyver’d their own radio telescope setup.
They are bulky, non-portable, unwieldy, complex, and unsightly.
We have the technology to condense and simplify the basic radio telescope
I decided to move forward with the tablet configuration for data legibility reasons.
In production models, the bump doubles as an air vent for CPU heat escape allowance
Easy to scoop back up after being set down
Multipurpose magnetic door for tablet access, Raspberry Pi & radio wave receiver, and storage for the dish components.
Set it and forget it.
